Ashley Neal Cox graduated from the Mississippi College School of Law in May of 2016, and joined Cox & Moore, PLLC as an associate in August of the same year. She is a native of Grenada, where she was educated in the Grenada public schools, and licensed before all federal and state courts in Mississippi. She dedicates a majority of her practice to the areas of family law and criminal defense, as well as assisting with the firm’s civil practice.

Ashley graduated with honors from Delta State University in 2012, where she was a member of the Student Hall of Fame. She was very active on the DSU campus, and was a member of the Executive Cabinet of the Student Government Association, Pi Gammu Mu and Omicron Delta Kappa honor societies, and Kappa Delta sorority. During her last semester at Delta State, she was selected to serve as the Delta Council fellow in the office of U.S. Senator Thad Cochran in Washington, D.C., and was also chair of the campus College Republicans.

In law school, Ashley was a member of the Executive Board of the Moot Court Board, and was a finalist in the National Pre-Trial Competition at Stetson University. She worked as a legal intern in the office of Justice Randy Pierce of the Mississippi Supreme Court, and was the recipient of the Sports Law Society award. She graduated cum laude in 2016.

In the Cleveland community, Ashley is active with the Cleveland/Bolivar County Crimestoppers board of directors and is a member of the USTA Southern Millennial Task Force. She enjoys playing tennis and spending time with her family in her spare time.
